They have the best Dynamite rolls I have ever tasted! We went as a family of 6 and they were able to sit us down within minutes. Soon after our cook comes out and begins the show. He did a few pranks for the kids(my nephews) and participated them in catching food with their mouths. Kids absolutely loved it and I did too! The food is always great, carry out and sit in.

Food is always good and great service. You have the option of sitting on the sushi side (restaurant table style) or hibachi.

It's an enjoyable experience, everytime I go. The service is prompt, whether you dine-in or get it to go. The staff is very friendly. It's also a clean environment, which is very important when it comes to restaurants. I'd recommend this place to anyone

The service was alright but the food was not very good. It wasn't bad, just not very good. The sushi was bland, the miss was just alright, and the salad was absolutely drenched in a very bland creamy mayonnaise based dressing. It tasted like everything was made from bulk GFS ingredients. I will not eat here again.

I went today with my family. We were seated quickly and the waitress was friendly. I ordered two sushi rolls and the rest of the party ordered hibachi off the grill. They were very pleased with the cook and the food that he made. However by the time everybody was finished with their hibachi, I still didn't have any sushi rolls. Seeing as we all have things to do today, I did not have time to wait further after alerting our waitress. Therefore I just asked it to be taken off the ticket. The waitress was very apologetic, but no manager or anybody else came out to apologize or explain. While leaving, the waitress said the sushi would be on her next time, which is nice, but I am visiting from Virginia so that won't be an option. Lesson learned, if you don't order the hibachi, you may have to bug somebody to make sure your meal comes out.

Ate at the sushi bar and the food was great! The customer service was wonderful, I love the waitresses. Definitely a wonderful experience.

Well, one of the chefs seems to think that just because you are a female, you should not get more than a male. I paid for extra rice, but he seems to think that the male, whom did not pay for extra, should get more. This action is not the first time. I also had to ask for more zucchini in my vegetables; I did not get mushrooms (my choice of course). He gave me mostly onions. This action only happens when he serves, otherwise, my visit is fine.

The noodles are awesome. So are the scallops.

This is the first time I have eaten Hibachi so I can only compare it to other Steakhouses that I have been too, but in saying that, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The chef was entertaining, the waiter was great. We never once ran out of something to drink. He was very observant and patient with our requests for sauces. The meat, soup, and soy sauce was a little salty to me but not overbearing. The taste was very good. I’m giving four stars for the temperature of the place and it seemed like the food seasonings were not individualized per food. After the chef finished it did get quite warm. However, I will try more Hibachi now.

Best sushi in Mississippi! Delicious variety of sashimi and sushi, but also tasty hibachi dishes for those who don't like raw fish. Always friendly service here. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and decorated. Even the bathrooms are pretty and always clean.

I had a good time. Habachi was tasty. Service was attentive. The stand out is the Cajun Crawfish sushi roll. It was stuffed with Crawfish meat and accented with a spicy mayo. Oh my gosh. Fantastic. I would go again if I was in the area.

Dry not fresh sushi, dry rice, slow service, inattentive waitress who doesn't get special requests fulfilled (ie. dressing on the side), sushi ordered as sashimi came with rice, half a fortune cookie (did they buy the rejects?), broken LED strips everywhere. Sushi came before the salad and soup, and drinks. Even the ginger wasn't fresh. I don't like to complain and send food back so I didn't try.

This location is one of our favorites. I've tried other Japanese places that rank lower.

There was this other couple and my family that ordered two different types of chicken from the menu but same chicken was brought out for the entire table. There was no separation of the chicken order. Also, this couple order their shrimps deveined. I was the only other person to order shrimp at the table. There was a total of 5 orders with shrimps: 2 in house (deveined), 2 to go (deveined) and my order which consisted of 6 shrimps. Why would you bring out a bowl of deveined shrimps and 6 not deveined to the same table to be cooked? It was pathetic

I ordered a takeout order. The food was ready on time and the taste was excellent. This will be my go-to place for hibachi.

This Bonsai is the best out of other Japanese restaurants in the area. The food good people good, bathroom clean.When feel like having Japanese food I go to this restaurant .

I really enjoyed the food here and the service was really fast! Clinton needed a sit down Japanese restaurant! I would suggest the Louisiana crawfish roll and the California roll to anyone! It’s not exactly like the original bonsai but it’s close! The waiters and waitresses that I have had have been really nice with quick service. Prices are about the same as the original but well worth it!

They are very good. They have great food generally pretty good customer service and acceptable prices. They also have great lunch specials. Dinner prices are okay.

The crawfish rolls are amazing.

First time eating here with the family. Sushi was very good. My son liked the shrimp tempura roll, wife loved the dancing roll. My dragon roll was not as good as Little Tokyo's. Unfortuneately the hibachi chef overcooked my shrimp,scallops, & lobster tail. Hard as rubber balls.Mgr refused to compensate.

I love this Bonsai. The cooks and the servers are great.

Our server was so friendly and so was our cook. We had steak and shrimp combo with the dynamite roll and lousiana roll. It was very good and worth the $80 we paid. The restaurant was very clean and we enjoyed our visit. The only thing I didnt like was the pink sauce. But other than that it was great. We will be back again next time we are in Clinton.

Very nice decor. Spring theme. Clean and open. The Hibachi got me excited. Considering it's .1 miles from my hotel, I'm all in! Ordered filet and lobster. The house soup is a lesson on being minimalist. The salad was as well. Dressing was very Mayo and not a lot else going for it. The hibachi chef was very functional. Not a lot of flourish. He also cooked the vegetables last, which usually I prefer 1st.Noodles were good. Lots of onions. Rice was done to meet anyone's preference. Big portions of each. Filet and lobster were good. Filet was extremely tender. Too much salt on the lobster and meat, but very well in presentation.Service staff were nice. Little slow with some items and Super fast with others. Overall a good experience.

The service was great. I cant remember our server's name but she was great. The food was delicious as well.

I enjoyed the food the service was mediocre nothing I changed my mind from Hibachi to regular booth and the hostess acted like it was an inconvenience. I will give it one more try could have been having a bad night
